What is your favorite subject at school? art class
What makes you happy at school? To express myself.

What was it like when you were in high school? There wasn’t as much gang violence, fights or drama.
What kind of person were you? A hard worker and didn’t study much.
Where did you go to high school? I didn’t really decide but get bumped from Central High School and realized it was better here.
What do you do in your spare time? I listen to music, work on my yard, hang out with my kids, cook and watch movies.
What colleges did you go to? Phoenix College and ASU. “Go Devils!”
What would you be doing if you weren’t here at Carl Hayden? Volunteer somewhere to keep busy, travel and get another motorcycle.

Why did you choose to teach at Carl Hayden? Because I wanted to help students learn how to read and write better.
If you weren’t a teacher what would you be doing? I would be a veterinarian.
What is your favorite food? Italian.

What is your most interesting teacher story? During my first year of teaching I used to wear colored long socks and the students started laughing. I didn’t know why.
